My ear is clogged and i cant get it to "pop"?

i have bronchitis and the cold is mostly gone but my ear started clogging the other night; ive been on amoxicillin and it didn't do anything; i also put warm water/hydrogen peroxide drops in to let it fizz which it was until yesterday; i don't normally have ear problems but i went back to the doctors today and she looked and said i could try holding my nose and blow but it did not work; should i wait it out or try something else? ive tried a heating pad, chewing gum,swallowing and everything else ive seen online...is there something that could help?
