As a general rule, waves of large wavelength ping through an object very small, will p undisturbed. If however the object has a size similar to the wavelength, it will ter the wave strongly. Therefore the smaller the wavelength the more detail you can see in a target. Fast moving electrons have smaller wavelength: they allow you to see more detail.
