Was desegragation of black people a good idea?

Do you really think Black people are ready for freedom? I mean they were slaves for how many years until we set them free? Look at them now... sure some of them are adapting to freedom well, but what... 65% of them are in criminals, illiterate, don't give a crap about the society they live in? I think they were better off as slaves. At least then we didn't have the problem of our country going to hell.
